According to the PS4 page, zlib is implemented in hardware in the PS4 to decode blue ray. This article doesn't mention PS4 or blue ray.Garfieldnate (talk) 22:08, 16 December 2013 (UTC)Reply

When I look at the stats on https://www.osscensus.org/summary-report-public.php zlib is up front (today). It appears that zlib is a very common lib, is this fact worth mentioning? 59.101.72.254 (talk) 10:09, 19 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

As of 1/15/2020, the DEFLATE page states that DEFLATE is a file format, not an algorithm. It also states that most commonly Huffman coding is used, not LZ77. Not sure which article has the most accurate information. Pcraven (talk) 20:44, 15 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
