Austria-Hungary/Galicia

[edit]

Since Zhovkva is in the Western part of Ukraine, wouldn't it have been part of the Austria-Hungary Empire until 1918? If so, did it have a Germanic name, or was it still known as Zhovkva?Jtyroler (talk) 04:41, 13 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

The article shown by following the link to "Deutsch" in the languages list is titled "Schowkwa".CWO (talk) 11:42, 20 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
Yes, it was in Austria-Hungary until 1918. See Sands, Philippe (2016). East West Street. Weidenfeld & Nicolson., which I have just added to "Further reading".CWO (talk) 11:47, 20 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Sandwiching the text between images and infoboxes is explicitly contradicting to WP:MOS.--Ymblanter (talk) 12:28, 30 July 2015 (UTC)Reply
