Image:NS logo.jpg is being used on this article. While this is opened for now, it's pretty unlikely I'll get into this until the first review I'm doing is sorted out, or the other nom from you I am reviewing is passed. I sure do wonder how much GACR you can open at once, but I'm not disrupting the project just to test the limits. However my Wikicapacity is pretty high since I have my schoolwork sorted out now.

And yeah, head's up that the problems with the Etymology section found in the previous GAC happens to be in here as well, so you might want to relocate, source, or delete that.

I'm struggling to find a problem, but one thing I can say is that the Sungei Kadut station only appears in the infobox, although it could be easily inserted into the details section. Is this a SMRT station article norm? From the looks of it, a opening year is already given for the future station. That's probably it. I don't think I found anything else.

Sorry for the belated response, school got a bit hectic. For Sungei Kadut, I don't think it's normal for MRT articles (see Botanic Gardens MRT station and Caldecott MRT station for Bukit Brown MRT station). Icepinner 10:10, 9 October 2025 (UTC)

Etymology section

@Danielbunchie: just to let you know that I partially reverted your edit, as the station's name was already mentioned in the "details" section. Furthermore, the paragraph had failed WP:VERIFY statements; my copy of Savage 2013 does not mention the station being near the Gali Batu Depot. I have added the origin of the station's name in the details section, but modified it slightly per the newspaper article it is cited to and Savage 2013. Regarding POJ and Peng'im, this is still a topic that I am currently discussing with other SG editors. I think the status quo is that POJ and Peng'im shouldn't be added for the station's Chinese name, but other users' mileage may very. If there is need for further discussion, I think WT:SG may be the venue to do so (courtesy ping to Warpswitch, who may possibly be interested in this discussion). Oh, thanks for letting me know and for fact-checking the source.

Regarding POJ and other relevant romanizations, could you point me to the WT:SG thread? I am interested to see what the discussion has been so far since I feel it is certainly relevant to many Singaporean names, such as this one in particular, and anyway Chinese romanizations are a standard part of virtually all English Wikipedia pages with Chinese writing (I assume this convention is to help those who cannot read Chinese). For this page specifically, I agree it shouldn't be added directly to the station's Chinese name (as LTA provides no official romanization for MRT Chinese names), but it would be taking away from the article's informativeness to not include it somewhere in the body. Yes, if I may quote the conclusion of the discussion as @paper9oll put it:

"An important distinction and/or nuance to make here is that the MRT station name itself has no published Min Nan romanisation and therefore should not have one added to the infobox. However, where the station is named after a place or person with a verifiable Min Nan origin, that context can and should be reflected in an etymology or history section. ...

This approach would provide readers with the historical and/or linguistic context at issue here, while still staying within policy."
