The last sections, referring to the Free Range movement seem to be jabbing rather than providing information. Seems unnecessary and biased. Pharmboy 19:26, 15 July 2007 (UTC)

I toned down the offending paragraph, though once one has watched people pour their savings into well-publicized but ill-conceived farming techniques, one might consider the original version to be too mild. In the U.S., at least, the "mud-yard free range" operation is always started by someone with high standards and aspirations and an expectation that the yard can be kept green, but it doesn't work out that way because the technique, as popularized, is flawed.
