Team rankings

[edit]

Where team rankings at each championship were taken from? They are quite different from medal winner standings.Cmapm (talk) 21:32, 24 February 2008 (UTC)Reply

Team ranking is base on points not medals with this format:
After 1989: 10pts for Gold, 9pts for Silver and ... 1pt for 10th place.
Before 1989: 6pts for Gold ... 1pt for 6th place.
see this link for 2007 Men's Freestyle team ranking. mohsen1248 (talk) 1:45, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Fake data on medals meant to push an agenda.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.182.31.129 (talk) 14:53, 22 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Unofficial editions

[edit]

I realized recently that UWW considers pre 1921 events as unofficial because the federation didn't exist! I can't put a direct link here but if you go and check UWW database on the events section you can find unofficial World Championship which covers events from 1904 to 1920. also UWW (formerly FILA) mentions that in their 75 years anniversary book here, check page 56.
