Needs some attention

[edit]

This article has some trouble with tone. It needs to be rewritten with a more neutral, encyclopedic tone. I suspect much of the article is text directly from the Foundation itself, only lightly edited. For example:

  • "The World Literacy Foundation significantly dedicates its time and resources to conducting research"
  • "The vision from the World Literacy Foundation for the world, is a world in which everyone can read and write. A world in which all students have access to a free quality education that they can use to empower themselves"

The article should not contain such a large number of facts about world (il)literacy; these are relevant to the Foundation's mission, but largely irrelevant to an article about the Foundation.

Finally, the article is quite long for a relatively minor topic. It should be reduced substantially. ~2025-43636-19 (talk) 09:49, 29 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
