Membership figures

[edit]

First, changing the membership figures would require a citation to a reliable published source. Second, the change to the paragraph on where membership stood in 2005 is outright inappropriate. That is a historical statement which is sourced by citation. Changing it makes the paragraph say something the citation does not say; worse, it makes a 2005 citation talk about 2007 membership figures! That's patent nonsense (a big Wiki no-no). Third, sources published in early August 2007 show that Working America only has 1.6 million members, so the 2 million member claim would be outrageously incorrect. - Tim1965 20:09, 25 August 2007 (UTC)Reply
