It strikes me that, as a linguistics subject, this area of studies is more often referred to as "Taboo language" as the WP:COMMONNAME. To be honest, I only stumbled across the article while following another linguistics trail via Google. If nothing else, 'taboo language' as a search string will yield some excellent publications by world class linguists. --Iryna Harpy (talk) 20:14, 19 July 2017 (UTC)
