Spelling revisionism

[edit]

Historic spellings should not be altered. It would be original research to fit them to modern expectation. Shyamal (talk) 03:16, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

This should perhaps actually be at Womesh Chunder Bonnerjee - see http://www26.us.archive.org/stream/indiannationbuil02madruoft#page/n7/mode/2up Shyamal (talk) 03:44, 11 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

In 1893, Naoroji, Bonnerjee and Badruddin Tyabji founded the Indian Parliamentary Committee in England.

When translating the article from English to tamil , these above lines are missed. So English version is only the complete version. Karthikeyanv1947 (talk) 13:10, 1 August 2024 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

The name is given as "Womesh Chunder Bonnerjee" which must be as Umesh Chandra Bannerjee because it sounds different.

Under the section of EARLY PAGES, It is named as Bonerjee which needs to be changed as Bannerjee. Dasniladri792 (talk) 14:26, 19 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Not done: You have not provided any reason for the proposed change in spelling or cited any source to support it. Day Creature (talk) 18:21, 19 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
