Importance

[edit]

The term "With High Probability" is very common in computer science, and I think it deserves a page. I added some links to Wikipedia pages which mention this term, and an external link.

If you think that it should be merged into Probability anyway, then please leave a redirect here. --Erel Segal (talk) 18:42, 21 February 2015 (UTC)Reply

Formal definition missing

[edit]

The informal introduction in the lead should be accompanied by a formal definition in a later section.

In the lead, the subsentence "can be made as close to 1 as desired by making n big enough" seems to suggest a definition of the form , which I guess can't be correct for truly random events. - Jochen Burghardt (talk) 22:17, 12 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
