From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The online Columbia Gazeteer states that the Bighorn is formed by the confluence of the Pop Agie and the Wind River. This is an error. The Pop Agie flows into the Little Wind, which flows into the Wind at Riverton. The Wind becomes the Bighorn by a name change as it passes through the Owl Creek Mountains. -- Decumanus 05:30, 20 Feb 2004 (UTC)
