Editors of this article are met with the hidden text, "Before adding an infobox, please read the previous discussion at [[Talk:William Walton#Infobox]]." I updated the link to take readers to this 14-year old discussion, which I believe is the intended target.

Are there any current objections to adding the kind of modest infobox that has been implemented at various composer articles? It is modeled after the Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart infobox, which editors seem to find more palatable. A similar infobox has just been added to Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov's article.

Given that the most recent attempt to add an infobox was four months ago, and the issue hasn't been widely discussed here since 2012, renewed attention to the issue may prove beneficial. Trumpetrep (talk) 21:08, 21 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
