This man is a choral icon in the Los Angeles area, and throughout California. He has been a pillar of notable performances in choral music since 1967, and also a tremendously influential teacher in both orchestral and choral conducting. He is a published author and has written many published articles on the craft. It is not meant to be a resume; since he is retired, he no longer needs to work. The purpose is to simply preserve his memory in the realm of choral music.

However, I'm not sure what to cite as resources. It is possible to use someone from USC as a third party to attest to his accomplishments there? I plan to also contact his publisher.

Any help would be appreciated. I believe this is worthwhile.

This is not a candidate for speedy deletion since notability is asserted. However, the article does need a major rewrite to become an encyclopaedia article, rather than a resume style page. The manual of style is a good starting point for understanding what makes an acceptable article on Wikipedia. Darksun 18:28, 27 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
