Completely misleading!

This article needs work--or to be replaced by a translation of the German article. --Composition was a sideline for Guttmann. The opera he composed was never performed, and he would seem to have destroyed the score. He is not known to have composed anything after WW I. --His participation in the 1932 Olympics was hardly a highlight of his career. He was best known as an opera singer, and was employed by the Berlin City Opera until 1934, when the Nazis dismissed him. --He died in 1941 after suffering a stroke onstage at the Jüdische Kulturbund in Berlin, a few months before the Kulturbund was abolished by the Nazis.
