As far as I know the term "White voice" use in Poland (biały śpiew), but I`m not sure it is used in ethnomusicology (more likely they use "tradycyjny śpiew ludowy") --A1 (talk) 20:15, 14 March 2020 (UTC)Reply

Белый звук is absolutely for sure used by Russian academic teachers and singers. But I see no sources on history or origins of the term.
