Lede
[edit]The start of lede seems to have changed several times since this was first created, but the current incarnation is very poor IMO. It is meant to immediately set the context and give an idea of who this person is, and instead it just lists where and when (twice) he was born, and then launches on to some flaky narrative. One has to read quite far into the article to understand what it's at all about. Could someone who knows (= not me) capture this person's essence incl. his claim for notability in one sentence, please, along the lines of "Whitall Perry (DOB-DOD) was a Ruritanian mystic poet known for..."
