Nothing on wider use of "false front" facade (pre-US or elsewhere)

European classical, medieval and Baroque architecture uses false fronts, the churches in Southern Europe and its far-away fmr colonies (Mexico!) very often have the bell installed in a false front, in the Netherlands it's full of decorative false fronts, and so fort. The US "Western false front architecture" is just a late case of false front pretense. While German Wiki has Blende (Architektur) [de] and Blendfassade [de], enWiki has nothing beyond the US version and smaller topics dealing with single elements (blind arcade, blind arch, blind niche). It is a bit tricky, as the "false front" in English covers many similar architectural features that are not related by heritage and constructions methods, and therefore are not included into comparative studies by researchers. As a result, the future article will be close to WP:Outline, yet I am currently not sure about declaring it as an outline explicitly.
