I am originally from Utah and have heard of Welcome Chapman. He was in charge of Wakara's Mormon baptism. Regionally notable, yes; but notable nonetheless. --68.2.209.124 05:21, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
Wrong Portrait
[edit]The picture currently used to represent Welcome Chapman shows a young man in his 20s, and for Welcome would date to the 1830's - an impossibility in this case since portrait photography was not commonly available until a couple of decades later. Welcome Chapman (1805-1893).
