"Sixteen songs"

[edit]

I removed the reference to "sixteen songs", as it seems Phillips recorded more -- I certainly count more than 16 on his extant recordings. Any citation for this number? 24.199.65.167 (talk) 04:43, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Ok, looks like 16 is actually the correct number. Does anyone have a valid citation for this, though? (I've only seen it in Amazon reviews and the like.) 24.199.65.167 (talk) 04:59, 8 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
All the evidence suggests 18 recorded songs, of which 16 have survived. See the citations in this article, and the one from wirz.de in List of songs recorded by Washington Phillips. Narky Blert (talk) 21:27, 20 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

See here Good write-up but I don't have time to incorporate it myself. —Justin (koavf)TCM 01:36, 23 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Write an explanation here. But, it will only be included in the article if you provide reliable sources to justify it. Ghmyrtle (talk) 07:50, 27 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
