Fixing scandal

Would it be appropriate to include information from the James Kirby book which deals in detail with the scandal and the degpfamation trial? The essentials of the book is that the fixing could have taken place and the trial was mishandled by Sat Post lawyers. Is it proper to simply state the legal outcome?
