I would give it another 12 months as journos still seem to be using old spelling: RNZ, March 2025; RNZ/Beacon, June 2025. I expect new spelling will come soon, as RNZ at least seems to use Waioweka for the gorge: May 2025; June 2025 — HTGS (talk) 05:47, 27 July 2025 (UTC)Reply
