Crashed

[edit]

I heard that some stupid European embassy diplomats were driving a car around and crashed the whole valley. Is it true and what country were they from? 88.211.132.72 02:06, 27 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, that is true. I linked to the story on the main page, no idea why someone deleted the information I added though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.107.149.107 (talk) 05:25, August 30, 2007 (UTC)

mammals?

[edit]

"mammals such as sharks, crocodiles, sawfish, turtles and rays" - simply does not seem right. Agathoclea (talk) 07:59, 31 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Earlier name

[edit]

What was the name of the area before the 1902 discovery? --Error (talk) 23:32, 9 March 2021 (UTC)Reply

4-Wheel Drive

[edit]

Article states "In the 1980s interest in the site resumed as four wheel drive vehicles became more readily available."

Refer to this article regarding when AWD / FWD was widely available. $WD has been used since WW2 in desert locations due to terrain challenges.
