HELP

[edit]

Any help on this page would be great. I'm not really an avid listener, so I may not be the best contributor. Also, if anyone wants to change the template, feel free. Does anyone know the history of this station? HammerHeadHuman 18:15, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

History

[edit]

Why does this page follow the history of the callsign as opposed to the history of the station?? Georgia guy (talk) 14:05, 30 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

You haven't said what you think is wrong with the coordinates, and the transmitter coordinates in the article match those given on the FCC and Radio-Locator pages included in the "External links" section. If you still think that there is an error, you'll need to provide a (sourced) explanation of where you think the transmitter is actually located. Deor (talk) 19:22, 27 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Early history

[edit]

It would be good if someone motivated could dig through the Free Press archives and find stories about the radio programming environment of the 1980s, and what the new class-A station did that allowed it to outcompete the big class-C signals of WQCR and WGFB. As I recall (it was decades ago) one of WXXX's early program directors won "small market program director of the year" more than once — there should be good reliable sources for this. 207.180.169.36 (talk) 03:08, 4 January 2025 (UTC)Reply
