First line says NOTHING!

[edit]

The first line of this supposed definition merely uses the term to define the term: "Volitive moods are a category of grammatical moods that are used to express volitive modality." Ummmmm... Ok? "Volitive mood" and "volitive modality" mean virtually the same thing! Needs to be corrected. Super unhelpful. 108.87.103.37 (talk) 21:41, 4 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Similarity to Subjubctive Mood Clarification

[edit]

This seems to me to be very similar to subjunctive. This should be better clarified. Also, I think this article needs a better example than Esperanto to justify its existence within linguistics other than being just a willful narrowing of the uses of the subjunctive mood.
