Lord Voldemort → Voldemort – WP:COMMONNAME. In the books, the character is initially introduced as plain Voldemort (both by Dumbledore talking to McGonagall in PS chapter 1, and later by Hagrid to Harry). "Lord" is portrayed as a title of respect generally used by his supporters (first by Quirrell, I believe), but usually (though not always) omitted in the narrative of the books, and in dialogue by these opponents who dare to use the Voldemort name. Also, and more relevantly, in real-world popular culture, plain Voldemort seems to be much more common. Mats84 (talk) 08:16, 20 May 2026 (UTC)Reply
Support. Mats84, I personally wouldn't focus too much on the in-universe description, but how the character is treated in the real world. And in that case, yeah, there is no other Voldemort.
