Vandalism?

Bearing in mind that the description of the astronaut pic is Apollo 12 astronaut Alan Bean holds a special environmental sample container which holds soil collected during the second moonwalk EVA. Commander Charles "Pete" Conrad had just put a soil sample in the tube with a shovel. The picture was taken in the vicinity of Sharp Crater. Conrad took the photograph and can be seen in the reflection in Bean's visor. (Apollo 12, AS12-H-49-7278) I gently query why this edit was made. I suggest it be reverted. I do agree, but, seeing as this article has had a history of moon conspiracy theorists, I don't see how this can be done without an edit war. And I really don't see how stating the moonwalks/landings happened can be vandalism. -Pyro3d (talk) 16:10, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
