- Accoring to WORMS 'Veneroida' should be without 'o' > 'Venerida".Fossilmadman (talk) 13:18, 19 May 2017 (UTC)
- Seems they are not exactly the same. Veneroida was found to be non-monophyletic as stated in the article. WORMS now recognises two orders, Cardiida (for Cardioidea and Tellinoidea) and Venerida (for the other superfamilies). The taxonomy of these bivalves as presented here seems way behind the times.
