Very strange variable names

[edit]

I am a researcher in the field of axial turbines. I think these variable names are very odd, and the textbooks given as literature are quite obscure as well. Could we start a dialog to maybe change them to a more common notation? The one put forth by Aungier (Turbine Aerodynamics, 2006 and Axial-Flow Compressors, 2003) comes to mind, as something that is commonly used.

I can provide a propper vector graphic illustration for the triangle as well. --129.247.247.239 (talk) 12:45, 3 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I second this. A very vague explanation with reference to unheard literature. The hand-drawn diagram is a cherry on top. 2001:569:7F14:3000:DC4C:1B2:D9E8:8B01 (talk) 20:10, 20 May 2025 (UTC)Reply
