Footballers?

[edit]

Surely the schools notable former pupils cant all just have been footballers? What about mentioning Steve Ovett? Didn't he go this school?  Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.138.39.96 (talk) 22:30, 24 November 2015 (UTC)Reply

Assess

[edit]

An unusual style - should be a "start" as you have refs. Better if you use the references tag as it conforms top wikis style. This could be a great page. Try an infobox. Some sub headings and a couple of relevant pics..... Victuallers 14:37, 28 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Prospectus?

[edit]

This reads more like a parents' prospectus than an encyclopedia article. Hundovir (talk) 06:30, 24 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Point of view.

[edit]

A lot of this page is written in the first person, I don't this is up to Wikipedia standards, correct me if i'm wrong. "Our school" for example. Hypnoduc (talk) 10:09, 15 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

coed years

[edit]

"Between 1975 and 1979, Varndean Grammar School for Girls became Varndean High School, a coeducational comprehensive." what does this mean ? is the period while the coed plans were being implemented or something ? the first intake of both boys and girls was 1979 so that cohort became the oldest year (and therefore Varndean fully coed) in 1982.  Preceding unsigned comment added by 138.37.215.34 (talk) 14:29, 26 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
