I do not believe there is any authoritative evidence that Honda's trademark, "VFR", has the meaning ascribed to it here. It's a good guess, but that's all. I have seen an email from Honda UK that claims the meaning is "Vertical Frame Racing", which is so bizarre I'd prefer not to include it without confirmation that it wasn't just somebody's idea of a joke! --JZH/London/UK
