I'm thinking of adding a full section on the function of these proteins. Also, I think it will be good to talk about the thermodynamic process of the proton channels leading to heat release, so I plan on doing this. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Could this article provide a mechanistic explanation of how uncoupling proteins work, potentially with images?--Abw20 (talk) 04:33, 29 September 2016 (UTC)Reply
