Ukrainian given names

While it is true that many Ukrainian diminutive male names end in -o, this statement does not capture the full phenomenon. In reality, the diminutive ending is -ko, as in Mirko, Slawko, Iurko and all of the examples given in the article. Who decided these names are popular? I highly doubt that Arsen, Kazimir, or Paraskoviya are popular Ukrainian names. I am not even sure that they are Ukrainian names, ie., they do not belong here at all. Tne lede say "Ukrainian names are given names that originated in Ukraine" I can believe that the name Vladlen originated in Ukraine (as wll as in Russia and in Kazakhstan), but Viktor?
