Sources
[edit]Let's talk sources. First, if these postures "may" do the things a student recently suggested when editing this article as part of a class project, the editor should offer a source for the speculation. Secondly, if the postures in fact offer health benefits, the editor needs to offer a citation from a reliable medical publication. Eclesia 08:29, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for your suggestions. I am new to Wikipedia editing, and I now see that even speculations should be sourced. Shegog 19:15, 8 January 2007 (UTC)
Merging
[edit]Let us not merge any other forms of Ujjayis with this article. They would be better if separated. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jaimalleshk (talk • contribs) 08:31, 22 August 2008 (UTC)
Ujjai is not three part breath
[edit]This article, besides giving several random vernacular names to ujjai (like ocean and cobra breath) seems to be expanding the definition of ujjai to three part breathing. There is no connection between three part breath and ujjai other that the fact they can be done together. This article should be narrowed and the traditional digital pranayama version should be added as well which can be found in the Hatha Pradipika http://www.sacred-texts.com/hin/hyp/hyp04.htm — Preceding unsigned comment added by Iṣṭa Devata (talk • contribs) 17:32, 20 February 2015 (UTC)
