Why is the weight of the car secret?

[edit]

Up until march 4, the article stated 323 kg, but then someone changed it to 25% of an average car. What is the reason for changing a very recise figure to a very imprecise figure? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.191.185.114 (talk) 00:35, 16 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Outdated world record statement

[edit]

According to the Guinnes World Records website[1] the UNSW Sunswift no longer holds the world record for fastest solar powered vehicle sinds august 12th 2014. As for the FIA Land Speed Record: the provided source states that the "record attempt is subject to verification by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA)" [2] According to the list of world records on the FIA website the record is now official.[3] It's found in the 'List of records - Category A' (under category A group VIII Electrical engine, 500 km).
