The TDF format is described as "open source" in the article. The "open source" term properly applies only to software, not to data formats. It would be clearer if the text was clarified to say that the specification was freely available with no restrictions, or something along those lines. There are no links in the article to open source software capable of parsing the format, which makes the description doubly confusing.

Modified to clarify above. When OSS libraries are referenced, lets reconsider adding "Open Source" back in. Any Objections to removing the call for more citations?
