This expression has to some degree survived in the German Bundeswehr. For example: Replenishment ships in the German Navy are still called "Trossschiffe"! 92.223.57.237 (talk) 09:28, 16 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Baggage?

Isn't this just a case of military baggage? Do we really need a German word for the admittedly large baggages of Thirty Years' War armies? Shouldn't somebody rather write an article on military baggage instead? (I'm not an expert.) Curryfranke (talk) 16:23, 4 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
