Merge with "Traveler"

[edit]

Two spellings of the same word. Many proper names require one spelling or the other, but some words can go either way. --Smack (talk) 03:08, 18 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

I had no idea which to prefer (I personally don't have a strong leaning either way, FWTW), so I resorted to the ever-popular web search, restricting it to pages in English, and got:
  • about 54,200,000 for Traveler
  • about 22,100,000 for Traveller
So I will go with the first. Noel (talk) 14:20, 23 September 2005 (UTC)Reply

[edit]

Some-one looking for the horse named Traveller (sic) is not helped here. Only if the person thinks to write the name followed by "(horse)" will s/he find Lee's famed equid unless s/he scrolls way down past 'all' the "travelers" (sic). Can't we fix this?Kdammers (talk) 12:49, 26 April 2013 (UTC)Reply
