This article is very ambiguous. Is it discussing the Transmission_delay or the Propagation_delay, or the sum both?
"Packet Size / Data bandwidth" is the transmission delay, while "the amount of time it takes A bit to go from the start of the link to its destination" is the propagation delay. BrokenKB (talk) 20:29, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
Transmission time can be obtained from the packet size and the effective network bandwidth
Transmission time = Packet Size / Data bandwidth
