Scale flying boats

[edit]

Jane's 1938, on the engine page 56d, says that the T4 was used in a 1/8th model of the 6-engined Lioré flying boat "which appeared in 1938". Oddly they don't mention the Potex-CAMS 160, a 1:2.6 model of the Potez-CAMS 161, also 6-engined, both appearing in the same edition on pp.111-112c. I wondered at first if this was just an error over names, but the quoted 1/8th scale suggests it existed. The full scale Lioré was the H.49, later (post-natiobalisation) the Sud-Est S.E.200, bit I can't find any refs to a small scale version. Anyone know more?TSRL (talk) 10:39, 2 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
