Disclosure: I am the owner of whats-your-iq.com, a free educational website that hosts an open archive of public-domain historical IQ tests. Per WP:COI I am not editing this article directly and am posting this {{edit request}} for an independent editor's review. COI disclosure is on my user page.

Proposed addition (to the existing "External links" section):

* [https://whats-your-iq.com/en/historical-iq-tests/trail-making-test-1944 Trail Making Test archive page] - whats-your-iq.com free in-browser version of both Part A and Part B with original 1944 US Army Individual Test Battery context. The Trail Making Test was originally a US-government-authored battery item and is in the public domain. Free educational resource.

Rationale: The Trail Making Test was authored as part of the 1944 US Army Individual Test Battery, making it public domain as a federal-government work. The current External Links section already cites the free computer-based research PEBL version. A second free in-browser version is genuinely useful, particularly since the WYI version documents the original 1944 administration and the 1949 Partington and Leiter publication.

Per WP:ELNO I confirm:

  • The link is to a free, public-domain resource (not paywalled).
  • The link is a substantive supplement to the article (not a duplicate of the existing PEBL link, since the WYI version is browser-based vs PEBL's downloadable software).
  • The link is not primarily promotional.
  • If an independent editor judges this fails ELNO, please decline this request and I will not re-post.

Authorship clarification: I (User:Baycanemir) authored the edit request immediately above. The submission was made through an API call that briefly returned to a temporary-user session before the username attribution could be confirmed; the content, COI disclosure, and signature in the disclosure all refer to my account. Independent editors should treat the request as if posted by Baycanemir. Apologies for the technical confusion.

Hi Baycanemir, and thank you for your suggestion. I am declining this edit request for the same reasons I gave at Talk:Bender-Gestalt Test. In addition, the link that you provided returned a 404 error when I reviewed it. Altamel (talk) 15:21, 6 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
Hi Altamel, thank you for the review. I have posted a substantive reply to the decline reasoning at Talk:Bender-Gestalt Test#Edit request: External Links section addition (1938 monograph) (specifically addressing the WP:ELNO #5 finding and offering to adjust the source page UI). To keep the discussion in one place, I am pointing here rather than re-stating the argument. Baycanemir (talk) 15:39, 6 June 2026 (UTC)Reply
