While it is good that the total confusion about this name is properly represented, Dwelly's Gaelic dictionary does NOT suggest "sanctuary" for "Tòir". On the contrary it says "pursuers" and "diligent search". It does offer "churchyard" for "toir" *(ie without the accent). It does not recognise "Tóir" as quoted.Freuchie (talk) 23:13, 1 January 2020 (UTC)Reply
