I think this page should be deleted. It uses only very abstract information and much of the information is debatable or simply wrong. I don't believe pages like this belong on Wikipedia.

a question

[edit]

why do almost all toons characters have only 4 fingers? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sephiroth shingen (talkcontribs) 14:12, 10 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

They are easier to draw that way. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.175.50.34 (talk) 03:33, 27 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Origin of the term

[edit]

It would be nice to note that this short version of the term was first used in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 81.9.164.77 (talk) 09:59, 5 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Two problems with that. First, this is just a page to point people to other articles; it shouldn't contain informative content on its own. Second, however, and most importantly, note that Toon (role-playing game) came out in 1984, well before Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Powers T 15:55, 5 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Token Object Oriented Notatation

[edit]

This is a new data format similar to JSON or YAML in concept and should be added to the disambiguation page as many simply refer to it as Toon or TOON. 03:24, 13 December 2025 (UTC) Sollupulo (talk) 03:24, 13 December 2025 (UTC)Reply
