Sections

User:GiantSnowman — This stub length article now has three sections, with two of those sections composed of a single sentence. This runs contrary to the guidance at MOS:BODY which states "Short paragraphs and single sentences generally do not warrant their own subheading." I propose we reduce the number of sections here. I don't see how the Football players page supports your position or trumps MOS. The Footy players page shows an article with five sentences before the first section break; the Footy page does not suggest we insert section breaks after each sentence to create an article composed of a series of one-sentence sections. Even if somehow you thought the Footy page supported your position, it would not override the MOS guidance, per WP:LOCALCONSENSUS: "participants in a WikiProject cannot decide that some generally accepted policy or guideline does not apply to articles within its scope." If you can point to nothing solid backing your position, I would be happy be to reduce the number of sections to conform to MOS. CUA 27 (talk) 20:12, 12 May 2019 (UTC)
