Tonal Memory (Pitch Memory) vs. Absolute Pitch

- Not quite. Absolute pitch is the ability to identify any note or chord without a reference pitch. Tonal memory is just memorizing a pitch. Of course, you could make an extension of this and have a pseudo-absolute pitch, by using a memorized tone as a reference pitch. --Xparasite9 (talk) 02:47, 22 June 2008 (UTC)
