My dad used to read Captain Stubby Sez from Prairie Farmer magazine at the dinner table when I was a kid. His corny humor was similar to my dad's so there was much appreciation for his unique perspective on life. That is to say, much appreciation from my dad but the monthly ritual would bring moans from my mom, sisters and me.
