This definition is fine, but not good for articles
[edit]Tmcft is a fine definition, but it is not appropriate for use in WP articles. It is not an SI unit, nor does it have a an intuitive interpretation, like acre-feet. The abbreviation makes little sense. The Tmcft is defined as a thousand million (a billion) cubic feet, but the T (tera) implies a trillion. A better standard unit is Ml (megaliter) or cubic decameter. It is more or less the same as an acre-foot. For larger reservoirs, the km3 is appropriate. - I havent seen "Tmcft" anywhere outside of articles on Indian dams. Is it a commonly used unit of water storage in India? I'm not too familiar with it, but I do agree that to avoid confusion, standard SI units should be used instead. Shannon [ Talk ] 22:51, 24 December 2018 (UTC)
