W.J. Byrne

[edit]

A WJ Byrne used to own Brock's creek station which he sold off in October 1909. It is reported that Mr. W. J. Byrne has disposed the whole of his interests at Brock's Creek to Mr. D. J. Byers and that he intends shifting camp to the Daly River, where he holds some good country.[1]

Took up an unspecified lease in 1910[2]

The next mention I can find of Byrne owning Tipperary is in 1917: Mr. W. J. Byrne, of Tipperary Station, is in town.[3]

No specific mention of the lease being ought or sold, anyone fill the gap from 1910 to 1917?

Solved after further investigation. Hughesdarren (talk) 13:09, 7 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
