Tingin article title

[edit]

AdobongPogi, there is a Tingin title redirect to Cup of Joe. If you are agree to move it Tingin (song)Tingin. ROY is WAR Talk! 05:06, 3 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hello, yeah i just found out since no other articles share the same title. So i'm AGREE to move the article in a single name without the disambiguator. Also i have requested the move at 1. Thanks! AdobongPogi (talk) 05:57, 3 July 2025 (UTC)Reply

Hi @MarioSoulTruthFan, could you take a look at the edits I made to the article? I removed this part: "According to Teñoso, the song expresses the feeling of being captivated by someone's presence, where every moment shared is cherished and marked by the light they bring into each other's lives" ~ I originally got it from Genius, but the context it's no longer on their site (probably edited by a Genius user), and since it doesn't meet sourcing guidelines, I decided to remove it. Also, regarding the single's release date, I apologize for the mistake; the song was originally released on April 28, 2023 (see here). AdobongPogi masarap 🍛 09:38, 2 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
@AdobongPogi: Genius not a good source for that since is fan and user-generated. Secondly, who is Cup of Joe? This article doesn't tell me who are the members + source and you missed some stuff on the review, which I pointed out. Last, but not least I'm thinking about merging more section "Background and release + Composition and lyrics"; "Music video + Live performances" and "Commercial performance with Reception". since 3 lines per section is not enough. Thoughts? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 15:58, 2 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
It is good idea to make it expand some contexts per section, maybe I preferred this part:
    • Background and composition
    • Music video and promotion
While in Credits and personnel part, I finished to fix. I removed the band name because it is redundant to readers. The band's individual members are already listed with their specific roles, so including the band as a whole duplicates information and is unnecessary. AdobongPogi masarap 🍛 03:34, 3 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
I agreed with those sections, very well done. Credits and personnel just missing a little something that I left in the comments. All of them but Janine Teñoso are part of the band? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 16:03, 3 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Janine Teñoso is not a member of the band. She is credited as a "featured" female vocalist and I was included her in the "Musicians" part because she performs on the song. This is meant to avoid any confusion or thinking for readers. AdobongPogi masarap 🍛 23:18, 3 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Good, but Gian Bernardino, Vixen Garez, Redentor Ridao and Raphaell Ridao are part of the band, correct? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 00:57, 4 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
These three musicians (Gian Bernardino, Vixen Gareza, and Raphaell Ridao) are members of the band. Redentor Ridao is a songwriter and the brother of Raphaell; he is not part of the band but is a contributor to some of the band's singles and tracks. Im going to fix this. AdobongPogi masarap 🍛 01:57, 4 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
You got my point, someone from the outside who is reading the article and doesn't know who cup of joe is...they still won't know who cup of joe is when they finish the article. Maybe on the background and composition when the songwriters are list maybe say "Cup of Joe is consisting of X, Y and Z", even on the lead. They get that Janine is not part of the band...but what about the songwriters? is the producer involved, so...it gets confusing because there is no sentence say this. I tried something, see if it work. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 03:05, 4 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Maybe what I'm thinking is how to describe the performers and non-performers to fix the section. I'm planning to add a notelist (if possible) or fix the subheading since it can make the roles clearer which will make it easier to understand. AdobongPogi masarap 🍛 03:34, 4 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
There is no need to describe who performs and not. Cup of Joe is three guys. The song was written by X,Y,Z who are members of Cup of Joe...simple effective and straight to the point. You are trying to do too much, when the article needs and mostly important has to be simple MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 03:43, 4 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Are CJ and Xen part of the group or they are touring members? MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 03:52, 4 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
They are part of the band, which means they are official members. AdobongPogi masarap 🍛 03:57, 4 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Is this section better and clearer? AdobongPogi masarap 🍛 03:59, 4 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
Yes, you just need to use  – instead of what you have take a look here to find that. I have improved it elsewhere to reflect the reality, please take a look and see if you are ok with those changes. MarioSoulTruthFan (talk) 18:14, 4 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
I checked the changes per section, and everything looks good. Thanks for your contribs. AdobongPogi masarap 🍛 00:04, 5 February 2026 (UTC)Reply
