Use of term "shredding"

[edit]

The article refers to her technique as "shredding" when that's not even remotely a term that describes a method. Hammer-on, pull-off, legato, tremolo, vibrato, natural harmonics, pinch harmonics, palm muting, sweep picking, alternate picking... those actually mean something. Shredding is not a noun, it's a verb in the present progressive and is simply a qualitative analysis of the acumen of the player and the difficulty of the music performed. Sorry to disappoint you. 'Shredding' - a very fast, intricate style of rock lead guitar. – Oxford American Dictionary. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 12:28, 10 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
A style isn't a technique. 2601:204:100:5EF0:5893:B271:3CA3:8A08 (talk) 10:32, 1 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Then correct an article properly instead of just deleting what you don't like. Kudpung กุดผึ้ง (talk) 11:09, 1 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I did correct it. I didn't delete what I didn't like, I deleted what was grammatically incorrect. If you insist on having that sentence include a clause on her technique, then write it in a way that's not semantically wrong or stylistically clumsy. Also, don't edit wikipedia articles when you're not very good at English. 2601:204:100:5EF0:5893:B271:3CA3:8A08 (talk) 19:16, 2 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
