Removed Statement

[edit]

Prominence is not equivalent to elevation. Read topographic prominence. This statement is at least misleading. --DRoll (talk) 08:31, 18 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Elevation

[edit]

There are two National Geodetic Survey stations on the summit: OGEMA and OGEMA TOWER. OGEMA has an elevation of 1951.5 feet on a concrete post projecting 2 inches while OGEMA TOWER has an elevation of 1952 on a concrete post which projects 14. USGS states that the elevation is 1951 feet, probably NGVD 29. I have entered the elevation as 1951 feet. VERTCON reports a difference of less than an inch of at this location. --DRoll (talk) 09:25, 18 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
